PANERAI Pocket Watch
59MM Tourbillon GMT Ceramica
Unique Edition of 50 Units
PAM00446
Panerai recently introduced this magnificent masterpiece at SSIH in Switzerland. All Panerai watches were evolved from a 1935 Rolex Oyster pocket watch which was modified by soldering lugs onto the cushion case. 8 decades later, Panerai has gone back-to-the-future by creating this stunningly beautiful ceramic Tourbillon GMT pocket watch, which is destined to be a superb collectors item.
As you can see in the photo below, the skeleton hand-wound mechanical movement is intensely complicated and sophisticated. It features a Panerai 2005/S Calibre movement, which is entirely executed in-house by Panerai. The 31 Jewel movement features a Glucydur balance with beats at 28,800 beats per hour. The Tourbillon movement indicates hours, minutes, small seconds, as well as a second time zone. It also features a 6 day power reserve with three barrels.
